Open an existing file

This app supports open images and files in all kinks of formats, including TIFF, JPEG, PNG, HEIC, BMP, WebP, PDF, SVG and many other popular formats.

There are many ways to open an existing image or file.

  • You can choose the File > Open menu in the top menu bar to open a file from your computer.

  • You can choose the File > Open Recent menu in the top menu bar to open a file that you have opened with this app recently.

  • You can also drag and drop some files onto the icon of the app in the dock to open them.

  • You can also open an existing file in the open panel.

Tips

You can change the number of recent files listed. Please visit Apple's web page to know how to do this.

Please don't forget to choose the right version of your macOS in this page.

After opening an existing image, a window will show up automatically and then you can draw, sketch, or edit your image in it.
